Studio Haus East 6th Austin by Kasa

The front desk staff (Mel) is super helpful! I had a typo on my guest name and couldn’t check in online. My booking agency said I needed to rebook cause they can’t make any changes…but the front desk helped me correct it and I checked in successfully! I also booked one more night after my original reservation. It generated another booking ID and I asked the front desk if it is possible to stay at the same room. She helped me request in their internal system and tried to set it up. It didn’t work out eventually but the receptionist is super helpful and nice! Amazing service!

Loved this hotel! The aesthetic was clean and minimalist, but the vibe from the always-attentive staff was warm and friendly. My room had a kitchenette with an electric kettle and a nice selection of teas, and the brew-in-bag coffee exceeded expectations; it was actually delicious! Don't let the location put you off, either--despite being in the thick of the East 6th Street bar scene, this hotel is QUIET. They kindly provide a white noise machine and earplugs for light sleepers, but I didn't even need them. And the housekeeping is by request, so you don't have to worry about someone coming knocking every morning if you forget to put the DO NOT DISTURB sign out. I prefer a hands-off hotel stay, and this property was everything I want and need. Definitely going to choose the Studio Haus or Kasa option in the future if there is one where I'm headed!

Stayed here in September and actually booked again in October as we were really happy. The rooms are well thought out, and the building has all the facilities you need; a kitchen to reheat food, a great rooftop, laundry room, and a place to work if needed. The staff are all lovely, so helpful and really nice to talk to. The location is fantastic too, east Austin and especially 6th avenue is a great spot; full of breweries, coffee shops and great food trucks. The nightly price was really good and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again when we are next back in Austin.

Such a great place for such a good price! From booking to check in to check out the process was 10/10 effortless. Not only are you minutes from everything but get to really enjoy the culture East Austin has to offer with also being minutes from downtown. Will always recommend if I know someone heading to Austin! Also, loveee the asthetic of the rooms!

The room was spacious, comfortable and the room was clean and expansive. I enjoyed being greeted warmly and the checking in via AI was nice to know that someone was there. Everyone from the staff front desk, operations, maintenance, and housekeeping were super professional and friendly! GPS sent me right to the location so easy access and was able to secure a parking spot the entire time. Wonderful access to yummy food!

Had a great stay here! The team was super helpful and quick to solve a booking issue I had really appreciated their friendly and professional service. The hotel runs on an all-digital system (check-in, key access, etc.), which works smoothly once you get used to it. I’d definitely recommend future travelers to take a minute to familiarize themselves with it — it makes the stay easy and convenient once you do. Overall, shout out to Mel, Ernesto and Calvin you guys made my trip awesome! P.s. Don't forget to check their rooftop and bring your dinner ;D

My five-day stay at Kasa in Austin was genuinely unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless. The check-in, the warmth of the staff, and the sense that I was truly being looked after. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed to feel right at home. I want to highlight Mel, the host when I arrived and my go to person for anything I needed while I was there. She was absolutely exceptional. She’s easily one of the most professional, kind, and accommodating people I’ve ever met in the hospitality industry. No matter what I needed, she was already a step ahead with a thoughtful solution or suggestion. Every host I met at Kasa also carried that same friendly, welcoming energy, which made the whole experience even better. The location of Kasa was perfect. Being right on 6th Street put me in the middle of everything, with Whisler’s next door and so many great restaurants and bars just a short walk away, there was always something to do. Yet when I came back to my room, it was peaceful, quiet, and felt like I was in a comfortable but luxurious space. Traveling from New York to Texas I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this trip exceeded every hope I had. I’m genuinely grateful to Kasa and the entire team for creating such a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be back!!!

What an amazing stay I had at Studio Haus by Kasa. I recently relocated from Mexico to Austin and needed a bridge place while setting up my apartment and getting to know the city. I stayed for almost a month (September 8th–29th) and am so glad I found this spot—it truly felt like a second home. From day one, the team didn’t just help me out—they made me feel welcome, like I was part of the family. Ernesto (manager) and Calvin (operations manager) weren’t only helpful but also genuinely personable, always taking the time to check in, share a laugh, and make sure I was settled. The front desk staff—Mel, Mia, Amber, Jasmine—and Susan’s cleaning team all went above and beyond to create an atmosphere that was warm, supportive, and fun. What makes Studio Haus stand out is the people—you simply don’t get this kind of community at an Airbnb. Every interaction felt genuine, and the staff truly cared about making my transition to Austin easier. The location in East Austin was perfect for exploring, and in short order, I was able to establish some roots and even make a few friends along the way. I highly recommend Studio Haus by Kasa to anyone needing a welcoming, convenient, and community-minded place to land in Austin.
